Stella McCartney And Rolex Day Date; Designed Like A Dream

Stella McCartneyRolex and Stella McCartney live Ralph Lauren’s ideology “I don’t design clothes, I design dreams” to the tee. Both Rolex and Stella take their natural ingenuity to the heights of fashion. Rolex designs are inspired by life, and the values of truth and commitment. Stella brings the same amount of passion that goes into constructing a Rolex watch into designing her clothing line. Rolex has been able to carve a niche for itself today only because it has embraced change. Rolex understands that nothing is forever and neither are its designs. Keeping in mind the preferences of our old customers and the designs they have made their own for years Rolex has introduced new designs to cater to changing customer taste. Stella started interning with Christian Lacroix and the house of Savile Row and cast her famous model friends to model for her line on graduating from fashion college. Emily Blunt And Rolex Day Date; Nothing Blunt About Them

Emily BluntBluntness is something that you would find difficult to associate with an actress like Emily and a watch from the Rolex house that also happens to be one of its very popular models-the Day Date. Over the years the Rolex has fine tuned its mechanism and made its collection of watches a formidable rival to face when it comes to competing with other luxury watch brands in the market. With the Day Date the Rolex has hit the jackpot and rightly so because the watch has something to offer to anyone and everyone. Rolex always aims at satisfying its clientele by offering to them designs and functionalities that they prefer in their watches and with a Rolex in hand everybody goes out of the Rolex boutique happy and knowing that their money has been well spent. Emily Blunt is one actress who despite her stunning looks lends a great degree of maturity to her character that certainly belies her age and yet her fan following ever since her popularity rose from 2003 has never seen a stop in growing.

After training at the prestigious Hurtwood House, Blunt made her debut in Bliss a musical written by Paul Sellar. Blunt continued her theatrics on stage acting with both the National Theatre and Chichester Festival theatre. Her debut on screen was with Boudica and the television drama Henry VIII where her performance as Queen Catherine Howard bought her accolades galore.

My Summer of Love released in 2004 brought Emily into the public eye. Blunt was awarded the Evening Standard British Film Award for the film. She was cast to play Bill Nighy’s daughter in Gideon’s Daughter. Blunt played the first assistant to Meryl Streep’s character in The Devil Wears Prada and was named as Best Female Scene Stealer by Entertainment Weekly for the film. She went on to co star with Susan Sarandon in Irresistible and in 2007 she made an appearance in Charlie Wilson’s War. Blunt has finished shooting for The Young Victoria where she plays Queen Victoria. Blunt will also star opposite Matt Damon in The Adjustment Bureau where she’ll play a ballet dancer.

Rolex Day DateOyster Perpetual is a common feature in most watches and even with the Day Date, Rolex has not done away with this feature in its watches that is unique to the Rolex experience. The Day Date as the name suggests displays the days of the week in 26 different languages and also displays the date of the year on its dial. The Day Date has a 36 mm radius dial and is a gorgeous frosted ice blue set with diamonds. The bezel of the Day Date is an elegant display of what money can buy. A Day Date bracelet is special; it has a president engraved on its Crownclasp and the bracelet is also set with brilliants at intervals. The self wound movement of the watch allows one to stop worrying about getting the watch fine tuned at all times. The Day Date is water resistant to a limit of 100 meters and the diamonds and platinum finish just adds to the gorgeousness that strikes the onlooker. Crystallized in sapphire and with a chronometer certification the Day Date has made a name for itself in the line of premium watches because like Emily bluntness of manner has never suited it. It is a watch for the poised and the well mannered.

Geri Halliwell And Rolex Day Date ; A Little Bit Of Spice

Geri HalliwellIf music is what sets your feet tapping then you wouldn’t mind a little flavour added to it. Geri Halliwell is the spice that added the much loved ginger flavour to the Spice Girls music and her contribution is irreplaceable because it is only a perfect blend of spices that brings out the best in the food. Similarly, the ginger coloured Rolex Day Date is the watch that you couldn’t give a miss because your wardrobe would be incomplete without its natural zing.

Geri set off her singing career with the Spice Girls and her red hair led her to be known as Ginger Spice. Creative differences made Spice leave the band and move on to charting a solo career. Halliwell starred in a documentary based on her called Geri for Channel 4 that was directed by Molly Dineen. Geri’s first music album was called Schizophonic which notched no. 42 spot on the Billboard 200 and went on to sell 3.5 million copies worldwide and the album also got a gold certification.

Geri’s second album Scream If You Wanna Go Faster was released in 2001, which included the cover version of the hit song “It’s Raining Men”. The song featured as a part of the OST of the Bridget Jones’s Diary film. She received the International Song of the Year award at the 2002 NRJ Music Awards. In the meanwhile Halliwell also released two autobiographies based on her life experiences named If Only in 1999 and Just for the Record in 2003. The books drove on the kind of success that was generated by tabloid papers and acquired an instant readership. In 2002, Haliwell served as a co-judge on the popular series Popstars: The Rivals, which was also the creator of Girls Aloud and made appearances on Sex and the City and a film The Fat Slags that was based on characters from the Viz Magazine.

Geri was writing music all along, and recording for her third album Passion when she was asked to shoot for another documentary There’s Something About Geri. In late 2004 her single Ride It rode to no.4 on the UK charts and was a hit with those who liked to groove to her music. On 30th May, 2005 a new single called “Desire” released and reached no.22 in the UK Singles Chart and topped the UK Dance chart. Her album Passion has recently been released in the US.

Rolex Day DateSpice could never stay away for too long from the band that she had broken up with and in June 2007 Halliwell announced that she was regrouping with the former band members for the “Return of the Spice Girls”. Geri was slated to perform solo and sing her most celebrated hit “It’s Raining Men”.

Geri is also a prolific writer and in 2007 she signed a six book deal with Macmillan Children’s Books. Halliwell has developed her characters based on her celebrity friends and her books having met with success Geri has stalled her music career for the time being. Geri’s daughter Bluebell was born in May 2006 and Geri has also become a successful mother along with being a successful superstar.

The Rolex Day Date is a chronometer with a calendar mechanism displaying the day and the date in 26 languages. Set with diamonds and beautiful ginger yellow gold has a bezel set with brilliance. The eye catching dial is in brilliant silver set with more diamonds. The self wound watch is like the singer that is best suits Geri Halliwell because they are the most essential flavours of a tasteful palette.
