At the get-together the captain of the Chelsea team, John Terry along with team mate Frank Lampard on behalf of the entire team presented Guss Hiddink with Rolex Daytona, crafted by master craftsmen at Rolex that had a personal message etched on the back. A sign of appreciation for all the effort and labour that went into honing the skills of the team and enabling them to sail through the FA cup matches, the Rolex Daytona watch that was presented to Guss Hiddink stood for more than a memento to mark the day. Pleasantly surprised by the token of gratitude Guss Hiddink bid the team goodbye though many believe that he would still be involved with the team in some manner or another.
