How do I order?

Ordering a Rolex watch or accessory from Melrose Jewelers is fast, easy and convenient.

Ordering online:
To browse our online inventory, just click on the item you want and then click on "Add to Cart". If after accessing the details you still have questions, feel free to e-mail us by clicking on "Have a Question," located  below the item description. Once you've made your selection and would like to order your watch online, click on "Add to Cart" and then "Checkout". If you've decided on a particular Rolex watch but would like to continue shopping, simply click on "Add to Cart" where it will be stored in your online shopping cart. Then once you are finished shopping, click on "Complete Purchases" to proceed to checkout.

Ordering offline:
Call us toll free at 800-680-0620 or e-mail us at salesteam@melrosejewelers.co.uk.  To expedite your order, please have the Web site item number(s) handy when you speak with one of our sales associates. Our office hours are 7AM - 7PM Monday through Friday and 9AM - 5PM Saturday and Sunday, Pacific Standard Time. If you call us after business hours, please leave a message, clearly stating your name, area code, phone number, and the item in which you are interested. Watches may be reserved by voice mail, e-mail, or fax, and are held on a first-come, first-serve basis. All messages will be responded to promptly.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Bank Wire, Cashier's Check, or local Cash deposit into our bank account.  Bank wire, Cashier's check, and Cash payments are offered a 3% discount.  All credit card orders are subject to additional verification to protect our customers from attempted fraud and identity theft. If you wish to pay by bank wire, please call us and we will provide our bank wire transfer instructions via e-mail upon receipt of your order.

Is it possible to visit your showroom?

One of the reasons we are able to offer our watches at such competitive prices is that we do not have the overhead of a traditional retailer. As we are a wholesaler with very low prices, often as low as 10% above cost, if we were to operate a showroom, we would have to employ a large sales staff, which would increase the price of the watches we offer online. In addition, due to security reasons we cannot accommodate in-person pickups. If you represent a jewelry store or other company interested in purchasing a wholesale quantity of watches please email us directly.

Are your prices negotiable?

As a wholesaler who sells watches to other jewelry stores for resale, our prices are already some of the lowest in the industry.  However, if you find an item of the same quality available at another store for less, we will do our best to match or beat that price.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your watch purchase. Customers have both a 3-Day Inspection Period to evaluate their watch and make sure it is as described on our website as well as a Rolex Parts Guarantee (See Warranty page). During this period, if you feel your watch is not as described, please carefully review the item description of your watch on our website, as well as the detailed Rolex Parts Guarantee that you received with your warranty. Notify us of any discrepancy, and we will issue you a refund or replacement at your discretion, less shipping and handling. Beyond this period we will try to honor requests for exchanges and/or upgrades as long as they are reasonable. Please note that exchanges must be approved by our sales manager.  Special and Custom Orders are not eligible for return.

How long have you been in business?

Our company was established in 2004.  Our watch repairmen, polishers, and other associates as a team have been in the industry for over 20 years on average and have over 200 years of experience, collectively. Every watch we sell is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition.  We purchase only the finest vintage and modern pre-owned watches, which are then carefully restored by our technicians to ensure accurate and reliable timekeeping.

How do I know you are a legitimate business?

Melrose Jewelers is one of the largest distributors of pre-owned Rolex in the world. How do I know my watch is authentic?

Each of our watches is inspected and painstakingly restored by one of our five Certified Rolex Watchmakers. In addition, prior to shipment, all of our watches are independently appraised by the Los Angeles International Gemological Laboratory to verify its authenticity and value.

If you would like to have your watch independently verified, simply take it to your local independent watchmaker to view its Serial #, Model #, Case back ID, and Movement Signature (the 4 primary verification methods used by professionals) by looking between its bottom lugs (where the band connects to the case), top lugs, and by opening the watch's Case back respectively. If you are ever told that a watch is not authentic ask if the individual or store performed these four verification tests, as these are the only "full-proof" verification methods. If you are told by a jeweler or watchmaker that your watch does not contain the Rolex parts stated above, you should present the individual or store with the appraisal from L.A.I.G.L, and fax us proof of a full inspection on the industry professional's letterhead. We will immediately issue you a replacement or refund.

Please note that due to Rolex, S.A.'s sale policies, Rolex authorized retail dealers are prohibited from providing verification of pre-owned Rolex watches with diamond or other additions. Hence, if seeking 3rd party verification of your Rolex we recommend you consult the advice of an independent high-end "Watchmaker" or "Watch Repair" shop as can be found under "Jewelry & Watch Repair" in your local yellow pages. In addition we can provide you the name and number of an independent appraiser from whom you can obtain a certification/appraisal for your watch at a reduced price. Does the watch come with a Rolex box and papers?

When we have the original box and/or paperwork, it will be stated in the item description. Most pre-owned Rolex do not come with the original box and paperwork for a very simple reason: the original owner loses or discards them. All of our watches do come with a full independent appraisal, verifying their authenticity.

How long will it take to get my watch?

For all major forms of payment (bank wire, credit cards, cashiers checks, money orders, and cash deposits) we generally ship within 72 hours via Fedex Express Saver. Fedex Express Saver usually takes 2 to 3 business days to deliver, depending on the location. So, total processing and shipping time usually takes 5 - 7 business days. If you're in a rush prior to a holiday or birthday, let us know and we'll try to accommodate. Shipping charges are as follows:

We cannot guarantee delivery dates on international shipments due to customs, but our company is very experienced at expediting international packages. Are you an authorized dealer for any of the brands you carry?

We are not authorized dealers for any of the brands that we carry, including the Rolex Watch Company or its subsidiary, Rolex USA. Because we are not an authorized dealer, we are able to sell discounted Preowned watches. However, we are not able to sell new watches with their original factory warranty.

Are your pre-owned watches reconditioned, and if so, what is the warranty?

As we only buy timepieces from suppliers we have had long relationships with, our items are already in excellent internal and external condition.  In most cases we must perform only a polish and timing adjustment to our watches.   If a full servicing/overhaul is needed we will perform it at our cost.  Every watch we sell comes with a one year warranty.

Do you take trade-ins?

Yes, but only if you have a higher-end model such as a President, vintage Rolex, or unique or rare model. We simply buy other models in such large quantity that we cannot obtain and process them for sale one at a time.  When submitting a trade proposal, please indicate the brand name, model number, case metal, case size, shape, overall condition, and any other useful information. One of our staff members will respond to your inquiry the next business day.

Do you offer layaway terms?

Yes. We require an initial deposit of 25%, and we will hold the watch of your choice for up to four months. Deposits can be made via credit card, cashiers check, money order, or bank wire. Please understand that all layaway payments are non-refundable.

Do you offer repair or customization services?

Although we are not a repair shop, we will try to accommodate repair requests for previous customers and customization requests depending on dollar value of the work needed. Contact us for an estimate and instructions for sending your watch for repairs.

Do you sell accessories for Used Rolex watches?

We are proud to offer a superb line of custom accessories for your Rolex timepiece. Our Italian-made gold and diamond bands, bezels and diamond dials feature high quality diamonds and meticulous craftsmanship. We do not cut corners when it comes to quality.

Do you prosecute fraud?

YES!! We prosecute all domestic and international fraud. Any and all transactions shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflicts of laws principles, regardless of the order in which the parties agree.

Any purchase from Melrose Jewelers shall constitute and Agreement. Any and all Agreements shall be deemed to be executed at our place of business in California as designated herein. Your acceptance this Agreement is subject to jurisdictional law located within the State of California. Further, if any provision(s) of the Arbitration Clause is/are found invalid, you agree that all actions or proceedings arising directly or indirectly, from this Agreement shall be litigated in such courts and consent that valid service of process may be made by certified or registered mail, to you at your address set forth herein or as may otherwise be designated hereafter by you in writing, and services so made shall be complete two days after delivery as a foresaid. You agree that you, in any such action, are to bear your own attorney fees, costs and expenses of such litigation regardless of whether such fees and costs are provided for under any applicable law or statue. The coded, statutes and laws of the State of California govern this entire transaction.
